What exactly is photojournalistic wedding photography?   It means that we shoot what really happens. We want to tell a true story, your story.

What happens after the wedding?   The blog post is a convenient way to see some of our favorite images from wherever you might be and we try to get those up as quickly as possible, within the week. We also put up a sneak peek the following week that you can enjoy while you wait for the full wedding gallery. The sneak peek and your final images will be posted on a private online gallery for sharing with your family and friends. The final images are usually finished within 6-8 weeks.

What about the disk?   We shoot RAW format and we keep the processing in-house. The final images on the disk are high resolution JPEGs. While we do recommend that you take advantage of our access to pro labs, especially for any large prints, you can handle all of your own printing from the disk with the print release that’s included.

Who will be shooting my wedding?   Us. We do not use affiliate photographers.

I’m uncomfortable in front of the camera, is that a problem?   Not at all. You might be surprised at how often we hear this. Just let us know and we’ll help.

Double bookings?   We generally limit ourselves to one wedding per weekend. Occasionally two, but never on the same day.

Insurance and backup equipment?   Absolutely. We are fully covered. Cameras, lenses, flashes, batteries can fail at any time so we seek out and buy multiple copies of the most reliable gear available. We also have a safety deposit box in Beverly Hills with backup copies of our data.

Attire?   We work hard, so wearing a suit or dress doesn’t generally fit with our shooting style. We do try to blend in with the other vendors – don’t worry, we won’t show up in jeans and tennis shoes.

Do I have to pay sales tax for wedding photography?   We are required by state law to collect sales tax on any services rendered, albums and prints sold within California.

Small wedding?   If your wedding is in LA county and you have under 50 guests there is a single shooter option. Contact us for a quote.

Private wedding?   We’re proud of our work and showing it off is an important part of securing new work. We do understand that there are special cases and we can keep the images from public display, but the coverage rate is higher for this service.

Are you high school sweethearts?   Yes, we are experts at this.
